Angelynn “Angie” Mock, 47, once a familiar face on FOX 2 News in St. Louis, now faces a charge of first-degree murder after police discovered her 80-year-old mother, Anita Avers, fatally stabbed in their home.
Police arrived at the residence shortly before 8:00 a.m. to a scene of unimaginable horror. They found Mock outside, visibly injured with cuts covering her hands. Inside, Anita Avers lay unresponsive in her bed, the victim of multiple stab wounds.
