Silas Sampson, a 22-year-old man, now faces eight felony charges after allegedly losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a crowd gathered outside a popular bar. Police air units first observed Sampson racing another vehicle along Hillsborough Avenue, heading towards the interstate. The dangerous game continued even as one car pulled away, leaving Sampson to accelerate south on I-275.
