A terrifying ordeal unfolded in downtown Toronto last month, leaving two women injured after a brutal attack following a night out.
Police are now searching for three women believed to be responsible for the assault, which occurred near King Street West and Portland Street in the early hours of November 23rd.
The incident began with a verbal altercation as the victims walked along King Street West, encountering three females inside a stopped vehicle. What started as words quickly escalated into violence.
Investigators allege the three women physically attacked the victims, forcibly pulling them towards the vehicle. The situation took a harrowing turn when the driver accelerated, dragging the two women a short distance along Portland Street.
Thankfully, the injuries sustained by the victims were not life-threatening, but the experience undoubtedly left them deeply shaken. The attackers then fled the scene, disappearing into the night.
Police have released images of the three suspects, hoping the public can assist in their identification. All three are described as being between 18 and 25 years old.
The first suspect is described as having a heavy build, with long black hair and brown eyes. The second has a medium build, also with long black hair and brown eyes.
The third woman is of a smaller build, sharing the same long black hair and brown eyes as her alleged accomplices. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with knowledge regarding the identity or location of these individuals is asked to contact the Toronto Police at 416-808-1400. Tips can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
