FLORIDA NIGHTMARE: 12-Year-Old Criminal on ICE Lockdown After Armed Rampage!

A wave of fear gripped a Lee County, Florida neighborhood as two chilling armed robberies unfolded within minutes of each other, the alleged perpetrator a 12-year-old boy. The incidents, targeting young people, left the community shaken and authorities scrambling to respond.

The first attack occurred as dusk settled on December 12th, around 6:40 p.m. A young person was walking home from Schandler Hall Park when a figure burst from the bushes, brandishing a knife. The demand was stark and immediate: “Give me your shoes.”

Courageously, the victim resisted, attempting to flee. A sharp impact struck their back as they ran, a chilling reminder of the danger they faced. By the time they turned, the assailant had vanished into the shadows.

Just six minutes later, the same park became the scene of another terrifying encounter. This time, the suspect approached on a bicycle, the knife once again presented as a menacing threat. A backpack was stolen, the victim warned of violence if they dared to interfere.

The stolen backpack held more than just possessions; it contained a significant loss for the victim. Inside were AirPods valued at $140, $150 worth of cologne, a school-issued Dell laptop, and a combined $50 in cash and clothing.

In a startling turn, investigators discovered the suspect had brazenly displayed the stolen backpack on social media, partially concealing his face. The post was quickly deleted, but not before providing a crucial clue in the investigation.

Both victims were able to positively identify the suspect, Pedro Luis, age 12, from a photo lineup. The evidence mounted, leading to his arrest at his residence on Friday and transport to the Lee County Jail.

Authorities have confirmed an immigration hold has been placed on Luis, notifying U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This action indicates concerns regarding his legal status within the country.

An ICE hold is typically initiated when an individual is believed to be unlawfully present in the United States, or if their legal status has expired or been compromised in any way. The situation raises complex questions about immigration and juvenile justice.

Pedro Luis now faces two felony counts of armed robbery, charges that carry serious consequences. The community is left grappling with the shock of a young suspect and the vulnerability felt by its residents.
