A 65-year-old man now faces serious allegations following his arrest by Halton Regional Police. Darrell Baudoux, of New Tecumseth, is accused of multiple counts of sexual assault and sexual interference against a teenage boy, with the alleged incidents occurring in Oakville last November.
The investigation unfolded rapidly after police began looking into the claims on Thursday. Disturbingly, authorities revealed Baudoux was already on release conditions for similar offenses at the time of his arrest, raising immediate concerns.
Investigators are now actively seeking potential additional victims. Baudoux’s past involvement as a youth leader has prompted a wider inquiry, as police believe others may have been harmed. A photo of the accused has been released in hopes of generating leads.
In a separate case, five individuals in Toronto are facing charges related to allegedly operating unlicensed cannabis dispensaries in Scarborough. A police investigation culminated in search warrants being executed at multiple locations between February 26th and March 2nd.

Halton Regional Police are investigating a deliberate act of arson that destroyed a tow truck in Burlington. On February 26th, firefighters responded to a blaze on Morris Dr., finding both the truck and the excavator it was carrying fully engulfed in flames.
Investigators have determined the fire was intentionally set and are seeking information about a dark-coloured pickup truck seen in the area. They are specifically requesting dash cam footage from the surrounding streets during the critical timeframe.
Finally, Durham Regional Police are seeking answers in the tragic shooting of a dog in Claremont last November. The incident occurred at a kennel on a residential property between November 13th and 14th, resulting in the dog’s death from its injuries.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area during those times, requesting any available cellphone, dash cam, or surveillance footage that could provide clues to the identity of the suspect(s) responsible for this senseless act.
