PREDATOR ON THE LOOSE: TTC Sex Assault Shocks City!

A disturbing incident unfolded on a Toronto transit bus Tuesday afternoon, leaving one commuter deeply shaken. Police are urgently seeking a suspect following a reported sexual assault that occurred near Lawrence and Pharmacy Avenues around 4:20 p.m. The individual allegedly fled the scene before officers could arrive.

The city also witnessed a brazen break-and-enter at a downtown jewelry store. Early Tuesday morning, two individuals gained access to the showroom by cutting through a second-story floor and descending through a roof hatch. The location, near Dundas and Huron Streets, was targeted with calculated precision.

The extent of any stolen property remains unknown as the suspects escaped through a back door. Police describe the first suspect as a man of medium build, concealed by a black balaclava and hooded jacket, carrying a grey duffle bag. The second suspect was slimmer, wearing a black face mask and jacket, and armed with a large pry tool.

A recent wave of robberies has plagued several Toronto neighborhoods over the past two weeks. Stores in the Dundas-Runnymede, St. Clair-Bathurst, St. Clair-Caledonia, St. Clair-Dufferin, and Weston-Jane areas were targeted, with thieves threatening employees for cigarettes, cellphones, alcohol, and cash.

Two men are now facing charges in connection with the spree. Omarion St Cyr Browne, 20, has been charged with five counts of robbery and theft over $5,000, with police recovering evidence during a search warrant. Donovan Poulin-Noguiera, 26, faces a staggering fourteen counts of failing to comply with probation, alongside seven robbery charges, theft over $5,000, and disguise with intent.

The robbery spree culminated in a lone gunman holding up a store on St. Clair Avenue and Dufferin Street late Sunday night, escaping with cash and cigarettes. However, one suspect remains at large, continuing the investigation.

Capano is wanted on three counts of failing to comply with a probation order, following previous convictions. He is described as 5-foot-8, 145 pounds, with a thin build and a bald head.

Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is urged to contact Toronto Police. The safety and security of the city’s residents remain a top priority as investigations continue.
