A 34-year-old woman now faces a cascade of serious charges following a police operation in Peel Region, triggered by suspicions of drug and firearm trafficking. Police allege the search uncovered significant quantities of illicit drugs – powder cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, and crystal methamphetamine – with an estimated street value of $75,000. The discovery of a loaded firearm alongside these narcotics dramatically escalated the severity of the situation.
Brandi Dixon, a resident of Mississauga, was taken into custody. She is accused of multiple offenses related to drug trafficking, firearm possession, and a concerning disregard for weapon safety.
The charges against Dixon are extensive, including three counts of possessing scheduled substances with intent to traffic, two counts of simple possession, and multiple firearm-related offenses. These include careless storage, unauthorized possession, and tampering with the firearm’s serial number.
