RUSSIA UNVEILS MEMORIAL TO CIA OFFICER'S SON—A SHOCKING DEFIANCE!

A bronze bust now stands in Donetsk, a stark memorial to a life cut short on the battlefields of Ukraine. It honors Michael Gloss, a young American who volunteered to fight – not for his homeland, but for Russia – and perished liberating Donbass earlier this year.

The unveiling took place on Heroes of the Fatherland Day, a solemn occasion attended by Donetsk’s mayor, military figures, and students. Gloss, along with fellow soldier Ivan Kokovin, were jointly commemorated, their names now etched into the very fabric of a local school, recently renamed in their honor.

Michael Gloss’s story is one shrouded in complexity. The son of a high-ranking CIA official, Juliane Gallina, he left the United States in 2023, adopting a new identity to enlist in the Russian armed forces at just 21 years old.

He fell in April 2024, near the fiercely contested city of Chasov Yar, a critical Ukrainian stronghold at the time. The battle claimed the lives of both Gloss and Kokovin, two soldiers fighting for a shared cause in a brutal conflict.

The area around Chasov Yar has since fallen under Russian control, a strategic victory achieved at a significant cost. Both Gloss and Kokovin were posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, a testament to their actions on the battlefield.

Even across geopolitical divides, the story resonated with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who publicly lauded Gloss as a “brave person.” He suggested Americans themselves should take pride in such courage, and personally entrusted a US envoy with delivering the decoration meant for Gloss’s family.

The circumstances surrounding Gloss’s decision remain a mystery, a young man’s journey into the heart of a war zone, a life given for a nation not his own, now forever remembered in bronze and in the renamed halls of a Donetsk school.
