ICE AGENT THREAT: Student's Chilling Vow Goes VIRAL!

A Minnesota college student ignited controversy with a video rant directed at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. Hasan Mohamed, from Owatonna, issued a profanity-laced tirade, seemingly angered by the presence of ICE in his neighborhood.

The original video, which quickly spread online, featured Mohamed aggressively questioning why agents had been in Owatonna while he wasn’t present. He then escalated the situation with a direct threat, vowing to confront them violently if they returned.

“You’re gonna get popped next time I see you,” he declared in the recording, challenging ICE to bring reinforcements. The video’s brazen tone and explicit language immediately drew widespread attention and condemnation.

Facing a swift backlash, Mohamed attempted to retract his statements, claiming his intent was merely comedic. He released subsequent videos offering an apology, acknowledging a “lapse in judgment” and stating he “truly did not mean what [he] said.”

The incident unfolded against a backdrop of increased ICE activity in Minnesota, part of a focused operation called “Metro Surge” targeting the Twin Cities area. This operation has led to a surge in arrests of individuals with criminal records.

Recent announcements from the Department of Homeland Security highlighted the apprehension of individuals accused of serious crimes, including child sex offenses, domestic abuse, and gang affiliation. Officials directly attributed these individuals’ continued presence in the community to local sanctuary policies.

A Homeland Security Assistant Secretary specifically criticized local politicians, alleging their policies had allowed dangerous criminals to operate freely and endanger residents. The agency emphasized its commitment to identifying, arresting, and deporting all criminal aliens, regardless of local resistance.

Despite facing criticism and an increase in threats, ICE has maintained a firm stance, continuing its enforcement efforts throughout Minnesota. The agency even responded to the situation with a pointed message on social media, stating the state’s forecast included a “100% chance of ICE.”

The situation underscores the growing tension surrounding immigration enforcement and the challenges faced by ICE agents operating in areas with policies that limit cooperation with federal authorities.
