AUSTIN NIGHTMARE: Terror Ties & a Violent Past UNLEASHED!

A chilling scene unfolded early Sunday morning outside an Austin, Texas bar, leaving three dead and fourteen wounded in a brazen shooting. The suspect, identified as 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne, a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Senegal, unleashed a wave of violence upon unsuspecting patrons of Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden.

Investigators are now meticulously piecing together a disturbing puzzle, uncovering evidence that suggests a potential link to terrorism. Within Diagne’s apartment, authorities discovered images of prominent Iranian leaders, alongside an Iranian flag, raising serious questions about his motives and affiliations.

Witnesses described a horrifying sequence of events: Diagne, driving his vehicle, activated his flashers, lowered his window, and began firing a pistol at people enjoying the night. He targeted those on the bar’s patio and in front of the establishment, creating instant chaos and terror.

The victims included 21-year-old Savitha Shan and 19-year-old Ryder Harrington, whose lives were tragically cut short. Diagne continued his assault after exiting the vehicle, firing upon individuals before ultimately being stopped.

Adding to the complexity of the investigation, Diagne was reportedly wearing a sweatshirt emblazoned with the phrase “Property of Allah” and an undershirt displaying the Iranian flag. A Quran was also found within his car, further fueling speculation about a possible ideological motivation.

Federal investigators are proceeding cautiously, acknowledging it’s too early to definitively determine a motive. However, the indicators discovered at the scene and within Diagne’s possession strongly suggest a potential connection to terrorist ideologies or inspiration.

Diagne’s history reveals a decades-long presence in the United States, initially entering on a tourist visa in 2000. He later secured lawful permanent residency through marriage to a U.S. citizen, but his past is marked by a series of legal encounters.

Records show arrests in New York City dating back to 2001, including one for illegal vending, and several others, though details of the latter remain sealed. A 2016 lawsuit also alleges Diagne injured a pedestrian with his vehicle, causing severe and lasting harm.

The firearm used in the attack was legally obtained in San Antonio, Texas, adding another layer to the investigation. Diagne also faced a 2022 arrest in Texas related to a vehicle collision, highlighting a pattern of legal issues throughout his time in the country.

Experts familiar with counterterrorism investigations suggest the shooting bears the hallmarks of a lone wolf attack, potentially inspired by extremist ideologies or a desire to emulate previous acts of violence. The question now is whether Diagne acted independently or received direction from a larger network.
