TEHRAN ON FIRE: US PREPARES FOR TOTAL DOMINANCE!

A U.S. submarine has sunk an Iranian warship in a dramatic escalation of the conflict, marking the first direct American attack on Iranian forces outside the Middle East. The incident occurred off the coast of Sri Lanka in international waters, sending shockwaves through the region and signaling a significant broadening of the war.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth delivered a stark assessment of the situation, stating the U.S. is “accelerating, not decelerating” its military actions. He boldly declared “America is winning decisively, devastatingly and without mercy,” suggesting a sustained commitment to military pressure on Iran for “as long as we need to.”

The sunken warship was located in the Indian Ocean near Galle, Sri Lanka. Authorities have recovered the bodies of 87 sailors, with 61 still missing, painting a grim picture of the loss of life. Iran has yet to issue a statement regarding the sinking, leaving a silence that amplifies the gravity of the event.

This frame grab from a video released by the U.S. Department of Defense on March 4, 2026, shows what the Department of Defense says is periscope footage of a U.S. Navy submarine firing on and sinking an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean.

Simultaneously, U.S. and Israeli airstrikes against Iran continue with unrelenting force. Israeli Defence Forces spokesperson Effie Defrin announced a “broad wave of strikes” targeting Tehran’s “military infrastructure,” vowing to continue the assault and undermine Iran’s stability.

The escalating attacks have already taken a devastating toll. Iranian state media reports that over 1,000 people have been killed in just five days of U.S.-Israeli strikes. Iran has responded by launching attacks against neighboring Gulf states, including Bahrain, Kuwait, and Israel.

The conflict has even reached NATO territory. Turkey reported intercepting an Iranian missile before it entered its airspace, a first for the alliance and a dangerous widening of the conflict’s reach. This incident underscores the potential for the war to draw in additional nations.

The intensity of the strikes has forced Iran to postpone the funeral of its late supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Originally scheduled as a three-day event, the ceremony has been delayed due to logistical challenges and overwhelming requests for attendance from across the country.

Israel has also intensified its operations in Lebanon, warning residents of dozens of border villages to evacuate “immediately” as airstrikes on the suburbs of Beirut escalate. The IDF has declared any building used by Hezbollah for military purposes a legitimate target.

Overnight strikes in Lebanon targeted a hotel in Hazmieh, a suburb of Beirut, and the towns of Aramoun and Saadiyat, resulting in multiple casualties. Another strike in Baalbek claimed six lives and injured fifteen, further escalating tensions along the Lebanon-Israel border.

Within Iran, discussions are underway to select a successor to Ayatollah Khamenei. Reports suggest that his son, Mojtaba Khamenei, is a leading candidate, though he has never held an official government position. He has remained out of public view since an airstrike reportedly targeted his father’s offices.
